115HP-Johnsonv4 does not fire

Need Help, my 115hpJohnson made 1975 v4, does turn but does not fire. I have replace all spark plugs. Any Recommendations?

First check to see if she is firing get a spark testor and see which plug wires are firing and which ones are not and report back and someone will be able to help you. good luck

Hi Marktwain, I have 77 115 v4, ensure that your battery is charged so that the starter is spinning the motor over at a good rate as aparently these motors have to spin at approx 300 rpm or more for the ignition to throw a good spark, to much less than that may not throw a spark sufficient enough to fire her up.<br />Just a thought that may be worth a mention<br />then check the <a href="http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=36;t=000001">FAQ section</a> "motor wont start " it will step you through the trouble shooting procedure, and shed more light on things for you from there you can ask specifics on the forum and hopefully solve your problem.
