I have a 1988 48hp SPL that I purchased second hand to put onto a 199? Spectrum that HAD a Force on it.<br /><br />Obviously I needed a new control box, cables, wiring, the whole schpeel. The control box has the red plug, the red plug plugs into the motor fine, no problems there.<br /><br />Am I correct that two battery cables have to hook up as follows? ... one comes off of the POS term on the solenoid to the POS terminal of the battery and the other one comes off the NEG ground on the motor block to the NEG terminal of the battery? Is that the correct way to complete connecting the juice to the motor?<br /><br />There are no cables from the other motor, so I am doing this all from scratch.
