I recently purchased a '64 boat with a 75HP Electric Sea Horse Johnson on the back. I didn't notice at the time of purchase but it seems to be missing what I believe to be the exhaust relief valve that is located on the back of the shaft casing on the prop side about mid way between the prop and the engine. Is this what it is and if so do you know where I might be able to get one? The guy I bought it from said he got water in the lower unit. I wonder why.
