crank end plate seal

OK, another little stumbling block.<br />V4, crossflow. There are 4 bolts that hold the end plate onto the bearing retainer on the bottom of the crank. These little bolts have some kind of seal on them. My gasket kit does not include them and the manual has no info on these either.<br />To me they look like an oring of some kind. (they are flatten right out).<br />They do fit into a beveled bolt hole.<br />Are they special or can I use a normal oring???<br />If they leak, looks like air could get into the crankcase.<br /><br />Any info on these would be great.

As I recall, those seals only come with new bolts.
