My 1969 55hp rude is running to cool I think. I have replaced the thermostat and running on muffs in the yard at idle for 20 minutes it is cooler than my wifes electric blanket. What should I do next?
Get a hotter wife???? <br />Sorry... couldn't resist!<br />Actually with no load at idle and cold ground water, it may not get very warm. If you run it in a barrel you can see if that stagnant water warms up.<br />Good luck
