1974 bigtwin johnson 40 hp

I am hoping to find out the plug gapping, points, and lean mixture setting-how many turns out on carbrator. The serial number on the prophead is 401968 model number is 40453s if this helps any. I have contacted local marine dealers and they are unable to help,thanks Mike
