Shift diode install on 100ESL72..Help??

Can anyone describe how to connect the shift diode in the control box? One wire is purple, the second wire is purple w/ green trace from the diode.Where do they connect?<br /><br />Model - 100ESL72R<br />Serial-J3700996

I don't know the answer backdraft, but any service manual for that motor would show the wiring diagram and would probably set you straight.

Purple connects to the "Ign" terminal of the ignition switch. Purple/Green connects to the power (voltage) terminal of the shift switch.
