Evinrude identification

My model number is BE25KELOS. Can anyone tell me what year and horsepower this is supposed to be? The case states 500cc Elan.

Do you mean BE25KLEOS? It's the closest match I could find.

B - Built at the Belgian Plant

E - Evinrude

25 - 25hp

K - Tiller steering, electric model.

L - Longshaft (20" transom)

EO - 1995

S - Model run code (no meaning to us)

Sorry Paul,

It was BE25KLEOS. I bought it believing it was a 50hp. It's a 3 cyl, 500cc.

I don't know much about them. They were only made '95-97 I think, and appear only to have been sold in Europe. There's a 35hp version but it's definitely not a 50hp.

Thanks for your help. Guess it's time to contact the seller and get it straightened out. One other thing, would the serial number mmake a difference? It was G 03095456.

please can anyone help me? l have old evinrude outboard .golden jubilee medal on the cover. number is 15028 and 13204. what year and hp?
