Just bought a 1994 sunbird corsair 170 with 115hp Evinrude (dont know year), replaced trim gauge on boat, now motor wont trim or even crank and battery is brand new. Any Suggestions on what the problem could be?

Did you remove battery cables. Do you have any other electronics that are working or is everything dead? could be a loose or dirty ground clamp. hope this helps out

If you did not disconnect battery during replacement, you might have blown a fuse. Don't know where this is located on your motor, but on my 1988 is is inline near the starter solenoid in a red rubber housing.

Unfortunately forgot to remove battery cables during replacement. But might lights and bilge pump work.
