hello<br /> i have a1996 v6 looper ,will a 1986 v6 lower unit fit and work i can get it at a good price thank you Jd

It will work but there may be a trick or two depending on which 96 V6 you have.

Be careful!!!!! Drive shaft length changed about 3/16" in 93/94 and can be deadly to the main bearings if the wrong one is used!!! (Take it from experience...)

Theres a way around all that depending on what you have.
