Remote Tilt/Trim switch

All the newer motors have a remote tilt/trim switch on the motor itself (I have even seen a third up on the bow by the trolling motor). I would like to add a T/T switch onto my motor (77' 140) because I am tired of having to climb in the boat to access the one on the control handle. I am however having a hard time tracking a switch down. Does anyone by chance have the OMC P/N of this switch used on the newer motors, or know of an adequate waterproof 2-way momentary switch that would work for this application? Has anyone done this before? It seems like it would be rather easy to do. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Remote Tilt/Trim switch

Take a look at this thread from a couple days ago, especially the reference to a switch sold by Bass Pro Shops (although the switch is sold by a lot of different people also).

remote trim switch thread

I added one to the rear of my boat too. It sures makes it alot easier loading and unloading. :)
I didnt however mount it to the motor, but rather to the boat.
