is selva 100 any good???

I have the option to buy a 15ft Fletcher 1988.<br />It has a 100 hp Selva engine on it (year not known)<br />It has a white stripe top & bottom of main cover, with a large white triangle joining the lines nearest to the boat. SELVA is in white writing.<br />Can anyone tell me if this engine is any good and what year it could be.(I cant find much on the web)<br />Thanks

I've never heard of them here in the USA.<br />Looks like they are still made.<br />2 stroke, 4 stroke, deisel, and boats too.<br /><br />I would contact the manufacturer, or a retailer for more info.<br /><br />Here is their website:<br /><br /> http://www.selvamarine.co.uk
