I bought a 1998 johnson 60hp motor. The boat I put it on is a grumman 16' aluminum fishing boat. The boat is rated for 60 hp.The prop that came on the motor was a 14x17.The boat would take off like a rocket, but would not go that fast.A friend let me try a ?x21 prop,This prop does alot better than the 14x17.The rpm's are getting to 5100rpm and the boat goes 33mph accoring to gps.what size prop could I get to get the rpms higher?I have heard these motors can turn 5500 to 5800 safely.Would this give me more top end speed?<br />Thanks Kevin

You are probably getting close to max speed with the "21"
