Bill... There are no fuses in the control box. There is a power fuse that supplies voltage to the ignition switch though. It is located in a red wire leading from the starter solenoid.<br /><br />In the above, I'm assuming that the 40hp is a late model. It would help if you listed exactly what you have (Year, Make, Hp, etc).
