1999 Evinrude 9.9 4-stroke water pump change

I need to change the water pump on my 1999 Evinrude 9.9 hp 4-stroke outboard. Are there any tip or tricks I need to know before I can drop the lower unit? Any tricks to putting it back together?

using oem parts is first trick a service manual also helps
