Hello, kindly requesting information from a knowlegable person. I have a '72 evinrude 125 which had the cd pulse pack. I converted it to a points type ignition system from a '69 85hp. All that has worked fine. My question is are thge flywheels on the Evinrude v4's balanced to the crankshaft or independently, because although the motor runs fine with both, I'd like to use the 85hp flywheel because it is much cleaner i.e. oxidation etc. But noting the holes drilled underneath for balancing I wonder if the cranks and flywheels are matched stes.<br />Thank you!
