I just had auto pilot installed and after we went for a test drive/calibration the tech topped off the power steering fluid to the top. The whole way home from my winter storage marina, 4hrs, the steering column slowly leaked, not when the auto pilot was on but rather when I manually steered. My questions are, Should I race to remove some fluid or will it stop leaking when it reaches a point in which the seals can hold the pressure and last do I have to fear the seals blowing? I already opened the filler cap to see if there was a res I could easily draw some fluid from but the filler tube takes 90 degree turn into the rest of the column preventing me from seeing any fluid level.
