My dad and I found a boat for $500 and we went and check it out. 16' 40hp Johnson motor. it had been put in a garage but took it out last year so the seats are dead and so is the paint but he hasn't used it since '89. the engine looks in good shape or do we need to somehow test it? me and my dad are going to split the cost and i am wondering, is this a good deal and will it be powerfull enough to go tubing behind it? thanks for the help!
