Have a Johnson 9.5 Seahorse and need year.

I'm looking for a good manual, but unsure of right year. It's Model No. MQ-10R Serial No. J2448737. I think it's a 1964. ? Thanks for any info.

David.... The model number of MQ10R indicates that the engine is a 1964 9.5hp Johnson.

Good (OEM) manuals:<br />TheOutboardWizard<br />Mastertech<br />Marine Engine<br />Ken Cook <br /><br />The Seloc one that covers your outboard is alright, but not as good as the factory ones. Especially since your 9.5 is rather different from the other 60s vintage inline-2s.<br /><br />Good luck!
