Hi Nick <br />Wether normal or not, it is hard to say from here with the limited info you provide. Your motor is equipt with a T-stat. This will cause intermitent flowage at times. I would suggest that you inspect and service the cooling system any way. This is routine annual service, should be done once a year or season under normal conditions. More often if needed. I have to clean out the t-stat on my jet motor every couple of weeks do to running in shallow, grassy, sandy water.
