There are two springs inside the thermostat box on the 1969-72 V4s. One is much heavier (stiffer) than the other. I 'think' I have them in correctly; heavy one on the thermostat, light one on the venostat. <br /><br />Sound right to anyone who knows? My factory parts list shows springs of different HEIGHTS rather than WIRE WIDTHS, so I can't tell from that. <br /><br />Thanks, Ledgefinder
