Default water in forward compartment....

Hi all,

I have a 1999 Doral 230CC…and while cleaning the cuddy yesterday I noticed some water near the sea cock valve that draws water for the head…so I grab a sponge and figure some water got in from all the recent heavy rain. 30 litres later…I’m SHOCKED. I’m more surprised that this cavity doesn’t drain into the bilge and I have no clue how so much water got in….not to mention I can’t find a way to access this area…..

Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot my water woes?

thanks

Default Re: water in forward compartment....

Same here
I notice that while my boat was in the driveway the ski compartment was flooded cause of the rain . Now I have an open deck and the rain manages to get in from the corners of the bow cover wich is normal .

But on the water it should have drained away but it didn't . I had to scoop it up . Weird thing is that my boat has been at the dock for the last 2 weeks now and the ski compartment is dry ?? Oh and yes it's been raining pretty bad here .
