I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find the rubber/vinyl sheetmetal "edge cover" material that Sylvan used to use on old pontoon boats, roughly 1970's models. I'm replacing my side sheetmetal, and I don't know where to find the rubber material. It is used to cover up the sharp edge of the metal, plus it hides the pop-rivots used to attach is to the railing.

My local dealer said he can't get anything past 5 years old. Any help?

do you have a pic of the molding? you might be able to find something on one of the boat supply web sites. boatus.com...etc.
