Reason: adding pictures
I suggest posting pictures of your boat and reading as many theads that have yellow stars and/or those with titles that have similiar issues that you find that you are dealing with. After reading and understanding what you got yourself into, then feel free to post questions.
By the way, WE LOVE PICTURES!!!

raptorbill, I love those old Cruiser Inc, Thompson and Lyman plywood lapped hulls. Always thought that that's what a boat's supposed to look like. The one you have there looks to be very solid and in very good condition. Where's it located, as around my part of the country there's not many left that are in that good of shape. Most have servere dry rot throughout.
Go to www.thompsondockside.com for Cruisers, Inc. information. They have a good discussion forum. Cruisers, Inc. was started up in 1953 by second generation Thompson family members with the full knowledge, blessing, and cooperation of Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co.
