1997 Sea Hunt 172 Triton Fuel Filter
I have a 1997 172 Triton with a 1998 Evinrude 90 SPL outboard. A few weeks ago I started having occasional power problems with my engine. One of the things I wanted to check was the fuel filter. I can not find anything that even looks like a fuel filter anywhere on that boat. I traced the fuel lines back to the tank, looked all over the outboard and the only thing I could find is the screen in the fuel pump. I only bought the boat last year and I am starting to think it just does not have one. If anyone has any information, please make me feel stupid and tell me where it is.
My only thoughts are in the tank. Or like some older auto carberators with small filters in the carb were the fuel line connects.
