Glad you are boating. We finally got out today. A little cool but the sun was shining and the lake was nice and calm.

Mine is in! Put both of the boat lifts in Saturday. Sunday was just as nice (to work outside) so I decided to get the boat out to wash and wax. It was 16h buy the time I finished. The winds where still up but I decided to put it in the water. No problem at the ramp. A bit tricky to get her in the lift. Took me 3 times but it was fine. Then we installed the roof canvas on the lift and voila. I'm ready for 30C weather now!

Taking the boat to the cottage tue morning. Put the dock down a few weeks ago after the ice was out and before the black flies came out. Hope they are not too bad next week, will be ok out on the lake. Put a new VRO replacement pump on over the winter just to be safe, so we should be good to go, workrd ok on the muffs.

I use Jeff Werkstat Prime Strong and apply it with the Flex XC3401VRG random orbital buffer.

I put on one of the new OMS pumps so I think that it actually runs at 50-1 all the time. Got the kit from a Bombi dealer online and I think it worked out just fine. Some directions were a bit vauge but they include lots of stuff and a nice bit of wiring harness so it looks neat when your done. I do like having the oil injection, just less mess and all the sleds I have ever owned had it as well.

Yep, OMS gives 50 to 1 constant. Nothing wrong with that. Same as premixing without the mess. I toyed with the idea of going to the OMS pump but have stuck with the premix.
Did you keep the old pump ??? Make a great spare.

I have had the boat out a few times, and spent 3 days anchored on it last weekend. Next weekend I am headed south for another extended weekend on it. Had to do full service on both outdrives and replace a gimbal ring this season as well as a fuel regulator....but all is well now and I am ready for a great season!!!
