I just purchashed a 1998 270 sundancer and was wondering what all had to be done in order to run a generator and a 12000 btu ac/heat. Where would the generator be mounted, im guess on the starbard side since I am running a single 7.4 engine. If anyone has pic or ideas please help

Built in or portable?

If you are talking about adding a ‘built-in’ 12,000 BTU A/C plus a 5,000 watt generator and having it installed you are going to be getting close to a $18,000 project. About $11,000 for the generator and about $7,000 for the A/C.

Go to a marina or dealer and start there.

A generator costs much less if your handy, check with Midwest Generator supply in Wisconsin they are the Kohler, Generac and onan/cummins dealer.
