Default Newbie to Bayliner

Hi guys,
Well I just sold my old Wellcraft 185 Airslot/175hp Johnson & have fit my wife & I into a 1991 Bayliner Cierra Sunbridge 2655. Good time of the year to buy but up here in Ontario I can't use it now until Spring - ugh.
What I am trying to locate is some manuals I can read over the winter & familiarize myself with her.
I have been reading threads now until I am going blind looking for the drive manual links.
Thanks to you gentlemen & ladies & the threads you posted I have received my Bayliner OWNERS Manual direct from Bayliner - Thank you!
But i am having a migraine trying to determine where to download from.
I have downloaded a "Service" manual Don S posted but the serial numbers listed for the engines covered do not match mine????
So here it is

5.0L Mercruiser LX/V8 Alpha One
Thunder bolt Ignition/Powersteering
Serial Numbers listed on top cover
engine 00602453
transom 00582444
drive 00573666

I would truly appreciate locating owners manuals for this drive system

Tks Ex

Bayliner never produced specific manuals for their different drive systems.
If you have the "owner's" manual then that is as good as it's gonna' get.
If you do some research into the matter you'll find that you'll need to order both the motor and lower unit manuals separately.
I would strongly recommend you purchase the OEM manuals and not ones from Clymer, Seloc, etc.
Get in touch with your local Merc dealer - they might be your best source to find them. Ebay is also a good search area.

Tks GC I appreciate your input.
I will e-mail the dealers to see what I can dig up.

Just a warning about using eBay for your engine manual(s)...some sellers advertise OEM manuals on a CD, and you actually get a poorly scanned Seloc manual (which is a copyright violation)!

Don't ask why I know this....

Great, I think I just bought one of these Oh well, for $5 if it helps me even change my impeller I suppose it was worth it.
