I can hardly stand it!!

Good customer service from a person that speaks clear english? I didn't know any companies still operated this way. I can't say how pleased I am enough. My manual arrived just 2 days after I called.

Thanks to whoever posted the original thread!!

Just an FYI, the manuals are still available. Recieved mine this week few days after calling the number in the thread. Kudos to Bayliner for this!

Thanks much Ron for the information. I struggled looking for a manual. In fact I called the dealer I bought my boat from yesterday to see if they could order one for me...no luck. I happen to come across this website last night and made the call today, and I have a manual for my 1989 Bayliner 2556 Ciera coming this week. Outstanding!!

Go Navy! (I 'm not afraid to say it, I was a Marine)

They confirmed my model also. If you ask they will also email you the original specs on your boat. Looks almost like a brochure for your boat.

Just called Bayliner about my 87 Capri BowRider ... They are sending out a manual to me to Canada ! .. I'm VERY impressed that they still have them laying around !

So Quick Question to all you older Bayliner Owners: Does anyone else have intermittent Wiring issues? ... Had my boat out yesterday and it ran like a top ... until I stopped to do some fishing ... then when we went to start it up .. it was dead ... traced it back to a red wire on the fuse block .. wiggled it and then I had power .. it happened 2x again yesterday .. Odd ... Might have to swap out the fuse panel with a newer type ... Does anyone have a wiring schematic for an 87 Bayliner Capri 17.5 footer that they could send me

Cheers - Brandon

I'll have to give this a shot. I have been looking all around for a manual on a 1973 Bayliner Nisqually. I'll let you know what they say.

Wow! Ive been looking for something like this for my boat, but I couldnt find it anywhere else on the internet. No manuals, documentation, nothing. Ill definitely give this number a call tomorrow! Ive been assuming my boat is a '91 Bayliner Capri 1800, but im really not 100% sure.

My boat is missing a few cosmetic parts, would they have that information somewhere, like part numbers and whatnot?

Just to update this thread...

I called the same number listed above Oct 21st 2009. The number is still correct and the very nice lady on the other hand e-mailed me everything they could find on the boat I am restoring including ....the following

"Our documentation indicates we only built this boat in 1989 and the service managers are not familiar with the boat. With that being said, I would assume we did not build many of these boats. The attached information is everything we have for your boat. I included the parts catalog for diagrams but please be advised the majority of the parts are no longer available. We sold all our older canvas patterns to Leta's Top Shop (360-435-3067/www.letastopshop.com) and our older upholstery patterns to Canvas Plus (360-435-0932). The attachments are the owner's manual, specification sheet, parts catalog and the brochure. Good luck with the restoration! "

Wow that was great !!!

Now I would like to find Owners Manuals on the Engine & outdrive as well as toilets, stove Etc.
We just purchased the boat, our first cruiser, & I want to read up on it over the winter.

Glad I found this forum and the number... we are buying a used Bayliner with no manual. Great customer service is hard to find these days.

This will be my first cruiser (2006 242) and I'm really looking forward to some fun times along the SoCal coastline!

Thanks everyone!
