Maxum boat

I have had a 1993 Maxum 23 SCR for one year.

My question is Does anyone know how many people can the boat hold?

Be it weight limit or numbers of occupants.

well, pops said his boat does not have a placard either. Maybe its a size issue...over a certain size its not required? his is the 2300SCR i think. open bow with a 350 merc. there is a calculation to determine the weight you can carry on your particular boat, but its extremely complex and I dont know it. sorry, wish i coulda helped more!

From what I remember, the rule of thumb is multiply the length times the beam and then divide by 15. That will give you the max number of occupants. But remember that rule is based on each person with gear weighing 150lbs each I believe.

I was told that this is the formula the CG would use if you do not have a capacity plate.
