Speedo Inop

I have a 1995 stingray bowrider.The speedo has become inoperable.
I've found the pick-up flex tube that attaches somewhere in the lower unit of the Mercruiser outdrive....Any help on this problem...

see if it might be stopped up you can try blowing a small amont of air into it and see if the speedo moves

When this happens I just replace mine as cheap as they are.
