Default yamaha 200hp power trim question

it will trim down but wont trim up but it hums like its working but it wont go up and wats the easiest way to replace the fluid .

Check the relay first. There is one for up and one for down. Should be on the passenger side of the motor just behind the starter. You can even switch them and see if you get the same problem in reverse.

thanx i will try that another question should i be able to push down on both of the lower rods

another question should i be able to push down on both of the lower rods that raise the motor

You mean by and and they go in?

Don't know never tried. Check your fluid and make sure it's full but unless there is something like water in it you should not need to change it

Uh your safety lever is not engaged is it???????? That would stop it from going down

the problem with it now is its blowing air out of the cap where i put fluid in at.And cant get it to go up or down
