Default just got a chrysler charger 115.. now what? no really, I need advice...

Just got a charger 115 in cosmetically rough condition and unknown working condition. the p.o. said it ran a year and a half ago.. so, what do I do now ? where should I start ?

tell me if my plan needs help:

check compression
check fire with a timing light
clean carbs and fuel filters
hook up hose and gas then crank it up to see if it runs

anything else I should do before cranking it ???

If it's been sitting that long ,you also need to pull the plugs and squirt some oil in the cylinders to lube them.Turn it over by hand with the plugs out to get the oil spread around first, look at the fuel lines to be sure there are nonbusted lines and generally give it a good looking over for any obviuos issues . Good luck .

Don't trouble shoot the ignition without a service manual.
Improper trouble shooting will damage the ignition.
