I pull my 1995 Doral Bow Rider with a 2007 Nissan Xterra, plenty of power and torque, also useful when launching from Beaches or other improvised ramps, just slap on the 4 x 4 and go!
86 F250HD 460/auto/4.10 gears. With some head and exhaust work I have friends with big truck payments hating on me when they can't pull away from me on the hills.LOL
2000 All Wheel Drive Safari to tow a Ranger 1860. Towing that boat is all that van does other than go hunting. Can't get it stuck and it has more interior room than a full sized Yukon.

Re: what do you tow your trailer with
My truck is a 2008 Avalanche LTZ 4WD with the 6.0L and 4:10 rear end. My boat is a 21 foot bowrider and tandem EZ loader trailer. Pulls the boat great I just hope they can get the trailer setup properly to not sway.
I’ve pulled the same small boat with a ’57 Belair, ’58 Fairlane 500, ’63 Catalina, '65 Electra, ’67 Tempest, ’71 Fairlane, ’71 Pinto, ’86 Tradesman, ’87 Cherokee, '88 Ranger, and '96 Cherokee.
The Cherokees and ’58 Fairlane pulled the best, with the Pinto (believe it or not) a close second. Some of the others pulled OK but rear visibility was poor.
I wish I still had my 71' Pinto...122ci of pure german power. mine would rip a 2002i beamer a new bung hole and i showed no mercy. bought it new and did everythig i coud to it, suspenion, mallory ignition, atc. oh wait i'm getting of the subect. SORRY i use a 95' f150 2wd with a 4.9l and my wifes mazda tribute to tow my 14' aluminum. works great.
Hi I am Thomas.
towing my boat with my 2k7 toyota tundra limited, 4x4, TRD package, off road package and upgraded it to the 18 inch instead of 17. pulls my wellcraft, 4500 Lbs empty with no problem.
I get too many looks, especially here in Fla, where everyone and their grandmother has a huge suv/pick-up.
I tow a 16 cobia with my 05 toyota sienna mini-van, and also tow my 15.6 Gheenoe Classic with my 1999 toyota Corolla. Don't laugh, the Corolla is rated to tow 1500 lbs. Of course it's the brakes ya gotta watch, but I do tow safely and frequently check the brakes, oil and tranny.
