Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time,
But always enough time to do it again?

Hey SeaWeed,
I'll have to look for you this summer, I"ve got a 88 201 Liberator (Cajun Lady) I live in Quaker Hill right on Smith Cove. My wife and I go up the Niantic river often.
I have your boat's twin! Just came in today off my 86 Liberator 211. Awesome boat for the family. Full of people, dive gear, and fuel and still hits 42-44 MPH on a semi rough lake!

I have an 87 211, that I just picked up about a month ago. I love this boat! Has a 454, that makes me grunt like Tim Taylor on Home Improvement, everytime I hear it! My gf and I redid the cuddy just recently, and I think as a fall/ winter project, I would like to redo the interior of the boat.

I'm out every weekend, usually to Claudios in Greenport, Soundview in Old Lyme, or Block Island. It would be awesome to cruise around with some other Libs!
I have a 1990 liberator 201. I am looking for someone selling a bimini top, mouring cover, and or camper cover for this boat. Email me. motoxpat@yahoo.com Thankyou very much
That is quite the setup! You trying to pull barges around or something? Damn.
Well.....no. I pulled the junk OMC 460 King Kobra stuff out and bought a complete Mercruiser 454/Bravo III set up from a local guy on Craigslist.
Although after I put the tricked 502 in.....yes....then I'll be pulling barges around!!

1989 241. 460 King Cobra. 55 MPH on a 14.25/21 @ 5600rpm's.
LIBERATED.......
By the way, with those numbers you are either seriously water logged, the bottom is covered with barnacles, you're dragging an anchor, or your TACH is WAY OFF!
At 5600 RPM & 55 mph, you have about 30% slip. I'm voting for the tach being WAY off.
Before you change your prop you should get another tach or get it calibrated/checked.
Cheers,
Rick
