Bought a New Left over LXI 208 with the Volvo GXI 5.0 with 270HP. Boat runs and rides like a dream. Very pleased with the handling of this boat. Took a short trip to a Lake Chatuge In NGA Mountains today leaves were turning and it was a great day on the water. May be the last of the year. We will winterize and store until next May. Going to be hard to go 7 months!
Hoping for an early spring in 2010!

Congrats. I purchased a 2008 LXI 228 in June and loved it. Has the Volvo 5.7 GXI motor as well. So far so good. No problems and just had it winterized last weekend. This is my first boat and I couldn't be happier. Thinking of installing some led lights over the winter to spice it up for next year. Hopefully winter will go by fast so we can all get back out on the water.

Congratulations JimMH, haven't started modifying mine yet, busy with home imporvement, but I was only able to use it about a dozen times this year due to poor weather. You will absolutely fall in love with this boat and will always wonder if it is running because it is so quit. Congratulations again.

Thanks guys. Just wondering why there aren't any larson owner clubs around. With a company that has been making boats for 95 years seems there would be. I will post pictures as soon as this old man figures out how to downsized pictures! I will have to get my teenager to help me.
