We have a Fisherman 2000, a 2005 I believe as i posted before. the aerator does not seem to do anything in manual or auto. the fuse was indeed blown, but I put a new one on, and now the light on the switch works. however I get no noise out of it, and can't find the pump to figure out if it's even doing anything...
I started pulling the floor and found the hoses and they seem to be connected to the livewells so I don't think I have a leak issue there (although I think maybe I have one somewhere because I've been using the bilge more often and pumping quite a bit of water out of the hull).
I ran water through the input on the BACK of the transom and water shot into the livewells.
I ran water through the aerater holes on the front of the boat, and it went into the livewells, and the exit holes on the livewells seemed to flow without leaks too....
not sure what to do next? how do i find and troubleshoot the pump?

I looked there and did not see it, it seemed to be lower than the motor. I'll look again though. How do you access it?
It can be accessed through the black plastic round access cover centered on the top platform just forward of the transom. The cover is about 8" in diameter. Lower the rear seat backs, lay on belly and reach down into bilge area. But that's on a 2008 model. Not sure about '05. -Ken

It is pretty common for these pumps to go out on any boat especially if they have accidently been left on dry for long periods of time.
These guys are correct- you should see it in your bilge next to the bilge pump. It may very well be as simple as a cartridge replacement. Just grab the ears on the top and twist counter clockwise and remove the pump from the housing. You will most likely have to snip the wires and re-crimp when you install a new one. You can buy replacements from just about any marine supply place....Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, etc...
These guys are correct in saying that you should be able to access it from the cover on the splashwell.
On the transom where you put the waterhose has a screen that is screwed over a threaded tube, that probably is the livewell pump intake tube. That is the pump. As far as getting excess water getting in the bilge area the Lunds are notorious for leaking water around the top inside of the livewells. During assembly they put foam tape around the top lip of the preformed plastic livewell tub, then set the carpeted floor deck on top and screw it down. After a few years the foam tape seal separates and gaps form. when you have the livewells full and the boat is rocking or hitting waves the water inside sloshes up and through the gaps. If you stick your head inside the livewell with a light and look where the top meets the floor you'll probably see the gaps. Pulling up the floor and resealing it is the right way to repair it but is a lot of work. I carefully cleaned the seam and put a quality silicone sealer into and worked it in with my finger. It's worked now for 5 years now with no water in the hull. Hope this tip helps........Steve

Well if you live in the Twin Cities you're lucky to be nearer to some of the best fishing lakes on this planet. We've been going to Lake Vermilion a couple of weeks a year for over 20 yrs. I'm down here in NE Iowa and am chomping at the bit to go north ths fall. I'm sure your livewell is occupied with toothy critters more than mine. Go git'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Steve
Hey Dustin just another tip, In the last 2 months I've known three friends who had one of their livewell pumps die on their Lunds. My front pump on my 1997 PRO V went bad last year. After removal I was courious and disassembled the pump as it felt gritty when I turned the impeller. it had water in the motor housing and smelled burned. It was a 500gph Attwater brand, but I replaced it with a 750gph Maifair model similar to the Mayrfair automatic bilge pump I put in when I bought the boat. Being my boat was 10 yrs old I figured the other (rear) livewell pump may start having problems too. I replaced it at the same time. Sure enough it wasn't long for the world as it too had moisture inside the motor housing. On the Mayfair pumps you can change the motor/impeller cartridge on them with just a twist and reinstall a new one in seconds. I bought a spare cartridge that I keep in the boat just in case. That spare will fit either of the livewell pumps or the bilge pump. Hope this helps..........Steve

Yes, it really hasn't been that bad. Actually, my son and I had a good day catching three almost 3-pound bass one day.
Hope you're able to go north this year. Lake Vermillion is nice, and I think it has escaped the drought we are having here in the Twin Cities. It's funny how the storms are acting this year. Too often there's this large front coming in from the northwest and, as it nears the metro area, it breaks into two parts; one part goes to the north of the cities and the other to the south. Go figure. The lakes near our home have decent watersheds and are doing okay so far, but others are having to close their access ramps. -Ken

HI I have a 1995 1775 pro v se how did you get to the front pump I have one that stopped working checked fuse seems to be ok if I can get to the front live well pump I can check to see if it is getting power to the pump thanks bill
