Does anybody have a 256ssi chaparral, how do you like it? any major issues? looking at a 2009 with 68 hours, boat used one season, 48000 dollars is that a good price?

You should check out the owners forum on the Chaparral Boats website. It is pretty active with owners and they could give you a better opinion on the price. Chaparral makes a top of the line boat though, but I am biased.

x2 on the factory owners site. What are the engine specs on the Chap you are looking at? Chaps are top tier boats and the company isn't having the financial issues many others are. Is it a dealer of private party? Was it used in salt or fresh water?

the engine is a 350 mag 300hp buying it from a dealer, 3 years on the motor, the boat was in salt water, on long island
