Tyee problems

I have a 1999 1850 Tyee and a few things need fixed. The livewell valve to fill or Recir. is very hard to select, almost think its gonna break when using. Is there something to lube? The piano hinge on the back deck that allows access to storage and oil res. is pulling away from the deck. Is there a upgrade or a fix for this. Front livewell pump also went out, but I think with the info you guys posted I can replace that. Any help would be great.
