grew 15.3` boat with 60hp too slow????
Hi,
I just purchased this Grew boat model 153.
It has a 1980 johnson seahorse 60hp.
the motor seems to be running well, but my question is:
how fast should this boat go?
I can only get it up to around 23 mph.
I would think with a 60hp, it would move a little faster,
the prop is a 12- 15.aluminium.
if anybody has any idea, how fast it should go, or maybe,that`s all I should be getting, please let me know.
I love the boat, just too slow for the size.
maybe need bigger motor?
