i have a 1972 muskie. there is a small fracture in the (dont know the correct term for it) front, i suppose keel. i can see foam. any suggestions on how to fix?

If you can see foam thru an exterior crack, you have a serious structural issue. Beside weakening the hull, the foam can become water logged which can cause loss of buoyance, add weight, and promote rot to the hull stiffener stringers and possibly the transom.
