Those of you that read Drudge... did you see this?

Pres Bush Assassinated in New Film

Freedom of speech, whatever - it makes me sick. Don't these lifeless losers have ANYTHING ELSE to do than to make crap like this? And you know that every FAR FAR left leaning person is going to eat it up.. have a "Movie night" of sorts.

Just sickening.

P.S. I used FAR FAR left because I know there are some Dem's/Libs that aren't as sick enough that they'd enjoy this sort of thing. At least I'd like to hope that is the case.

Deep breaths, ee, relax, do something to take your mind off it...go outside and rewire the boat...or better yet, go find that Daisy Duke avatar and put it back up.

It's the price of living in a free society, any a-hole is free to disrespect the leader of the free world. And the most you can (legally) do about it is to express outrage.

Re: I'm tired of it...

From an artistic point of view (and I do enjoy political drama) if it is purported to be fiction (and it clearly is) there is no excuse in using real names.

You could get the same dramatic effect by by using the name "Ralph Hornblower" or somesuch.

No one got particularly outraged at the assasination attempt a few years ago on "West Wing" as all knew it was fiction.

Using real names (or identities) in fictional pieces on contemporary personalities is irresponsible, IMO.

I have no idea what the intent of the author was, but if it was to generate discussion as stated, he is doing what does not need to be done (and distracting to that goal).

If he has any other motive, it is even more reprehensible.

I love it when they claim it isnt sensationalism.

That is as true as a lawsuit where the suer says its not about the money.

Disgusting, but I expect liberals to nominate it for awards. Sort of like Michael Moore, and now Al Gore. What a sad commentary on what makes some people tick.

"shows the media storm around the War on Terror as Muslims are fingered as the culprits before there is any evidence."

My favorite line from the article.
