Front Bench Seat

I have a 2006 L1648MT Lowe Boat, I want to take the front bench seat out and move live well to the side of the boat. Do I have to fabricate a new rib where the seat was located or can I plywood over. I would like to start this project as soon as possible and would appreciate any information you can give to help me out.
