Power jet 90 no spark

hey i recently purchased a 94 baja blast. it needed a flywheel so i bought it and it fired right up. then the next time i tried to start it it had no spark. i unhooked the yellow and black ignition wire and it ran great then i went out on the lake for about 3 miles and it died.. has no spark. i have tested the rev limiter and it is good and i had also changed the stator (not sure that one was good either) but wondering if anyone knew how to test the stator and or other thing that might be the problem. thanks

If you have replaced the stator and you unplugged the rev limiter, the only thing left is the CDI. That's taking in consideration that the ignition switch isn't grounding out. You can check that by removing the bla/yel wire from the CDI.
