Default 2100 LSR purchase

I think I've finally settled on getting a Used Regal Bow Rider. Looked at a zillion different 19-21' boats and it's time to pull the trigger.

I've narrowed it to:
2001 2100 LSR with a 5.0
or
1999 2100 LSR with a 5.7
Both have Volvo Penta drives.

Just wondering what the real world performance differences are ?

I'm leaning toward the 2001 5.0 as it's seating is more to my liking.
It's tough to sea-trial with 3-4 adults and pulling a big Tube !

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I had a 98 2100 with a 220HP 5.0 merc. It was nicely powered. The 5.7 would rock though...

Easily. The present owner claims 58 on GPS, on a cool day with a very light load. I saw 55 once.

I have a 2001 2150 LSC cuddy with the 5.0 mercruiser, and I can hit about 53mph on gps with two people and gear. The bowrider would probably be lighter than my boat, so it should be faster.
