I just purchased a 16" pontoon boat that is equipped with a 1988 Mariner 9.9hp 2 cyl., 2 stroke. The owner had lost the manual for the engine and I have ordered a Seloc service manual. In the mean time, I am looking for any information on this motor such as oil/gas mix ratio, any maintance or things I should check before I get it out, .......? This ius my first boat so any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks All!!!
