1996 256 Commodore w twins

I am considering a 256 that has twin Mer 3.0, 4 cylinder engines with Alpha One outdrives. Any feedback on how this boat performs relative to a single engine V8? Both engines are Mercs with very low hours. I suspect most hours are in salt water (Puget Sound) but both have FWC. Overlall the boat appears to be very well taken care of.

Any advice appreciated for a rookie boat owner.
