I'd like to get a boat that can go out 30-100 miles into the gulf of mexico. It has twin 150 four stroke yamahas. What do people think?

Ive got a 2600 and that thing is a great runner. It is not a particulary dry boat for 26 feet, but it is a great offshore boat. It will just plow through waves, and generally rides very well. I would think the 2400 would be similar.
