boston whaler 14 rage

can any one please help. I'm looking at a rage 14 to buy. It's going cheap cause of inboard johnson jet drive, and thanks to all the advice posted on this site I now know that jet drives are a pile of cra....
My questions are can the jet drive end be changed ot a prop outdrive or would the whole engine and drive have to be changed.
is it possible to remove engine and jet drive and replace with an outboard.
Any advice would be very helpful as I don't want to miss such a cheap boat if theres a solution.
