Default Aquasport Gas Tank

I have a Year 2000 Aquasport 215 Explorer. I need to replace the electronic fuel gauge sending unit. The port hole in the deck is off center from the sending unit located on top of the gas tank, by about 4", can anyone tell me how to replace this?

Default Re: Aquasport Gas Tank

You may need a curved screw driver. You may also want to check to see if your tank has shifted over the years. Mine did the same thing and the only way to get the tank back on center was to empty it to make it more manageable to slide. Once its back on center, you should be able to access the sending unit.
